meMy name is Shontelle Reyna. I graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

I have always found joy in writing but never considered doing it professionally until college. While in college I was actively involved in student media working my way up from Music Director to General Manager of the college radio station, University Pulse. From this experience and working as a staff writer for the student newspaper, The Arbiter, my love for Journalism blossomed exponentially.

Currently I am working as the Editor for a start up arts, entertainment and culture website called Earthlings Entertainment. Since I began at EE we have grown exponentially. In the last year since I started our social media following has not only grown but the interaction and excitement of our followers is exceptional. I have recruited a team of dedicated writers, videographers and photographers all dedicated to our collective cause. I have created a brand that is known, not only locally, but throughout the northwest and into parts of western Canada due to our concert/artist coverage and festival coverage. Last summer we covered over 10 music festivals all across the northwest, which has gained EE writers and photographers in other cities as well now.

Previous to this I have worked in search engine optimization (SEO), as a Network Operations Technician with the local National Public Radio affiliate KBSX 91.5 and KBSU 90.3, as a Music Journalist for both Noisefan Music News and  The Exposition (two local online magazines) & in Social Media Management for both The Blues Bouquet and The Crux, which are small music venues here in Boise, Idaho.

If you click the menu you will find my portfolio with an array of previous written work. Thank you for taking the time to look through my portfolio. Looking forward to speaking with you soon.
